Life is fair, you say?

Recently I stumbled on blog of Xah Lee, who writes in-depth technical articles about Emacs Lisp and amusing philosophical articles filled with Unix hatred.

Needless to say that I stricly oppose most of his statement, but in most cases it is just matter of opinions. One statement I found so outrageous, though, that I decided it worth a little post.

> In my life experience and interest on this issue in the past 5 years, i found that, the world is basically pretty fair, all things considered.

Net worth of Linus Torvalds, creator of git is $50m (in other sources $170m); net worth of Tom Preston-Werner, creator of GitHub is $1.25b. Fair, isn't it?
