Re "The siren song of domain-specific languages"

Gabriella Gonzalez recently published a nice text about idea of having non-technical users to do programming.

> So in practice you’re not actually replacing skilled labor with unskilled labor. Rather, you’re merely “laundering” skilled labor as unskilled labor and creating more work for your engineers to make them seem more replaceable than they actually are.

This post concisely put in words my own years of experience. On one hand, selfishly, it soothes to know that I am not alone, that there is somebody else who shares my pain; on other -- it is depressing to realize that harmful idea is so widespread.
